Saw an interesting structure at Makers Faire. It was a tower made of tubes fastened into a myriad of triangular sections, so that the base had 6 sides. There's something about the geometry that makes the thing look lopsided even tho it's not. It's also incredibly resistant to bending; not sure if that's good or bad, but thought this would be a heckuva base for a treeless 'treehouse' of some kind. Anyone know more about this kind of triangular tower?
