    Ever heard of a comic strip called Joe Poluka? He was a boxer and had a friend who rode and lived in a contraption similar to this. The comic strip was based on real people. I lived in Houston, Texas where they "lived" and saw the bike house several times. Of course, this was back in the 50's and early 60's.

      I hadn't heard of that comic strip, nope. Be interesting to see the bike house the strip version was based on.

      There's a guy who passed through Portland who actually lived in (and was rebuilding) a much lower-profile (not such a windcatcher) bike camper, handmade....

    Oh, that's really great! I suppose the flatlands are where it would be most useful, though. I can't see pedaling uphill with that.
