Really beautiful!!!

Many, many moons ago my dad was prime contractor for a prototype cottage that would have become one of a few dozen for a hotel that he built on Oahu (IIRC). I got to see this thing when I was a wee lad; a strange shell-like affair, very similar to this one, but only one story tall. It had numerous problems, most notably the way sound carried thruout the thing: the bathroom acted like an amplifier and a fart could be heard thruout the house, heh. Other problems included the way heat moved when forced air ventilation was used and the 'linear' nature of the thing; i.e. it was a long tube that had been rolled up, sorta like a cinnamon roll. Bottom line: with great fanfare and hoopla the thing was pushed off of a cliff with a big-ass bulldozer and that was the end of that. In the end they built nice wooden bungalows.
